GP2010 Core and
System
Low-pressure,
gravity-independent, contour-following sewage collection systems
were pioneered by Environment One. E/One Sewer® systems have proven
to be an economical and effective method of sewering otherwise
difficult land areas, such as lake-front property, hilly terrain,
very flat land, and areas with high water tables.
At the heart
of an E/One Sewer is the Grinder Pump, developed by Environment One.
These units accept household sanitary waste, grind it into a fine
slurry, and pressurize it to permit transport through small-diameter
pipes. There have been over 150,000 Environment One Grinder Pumps
installed around the world.

The
Environment One After Market Grinder Pump (AMGP) is engineered
to fit into virtually any grinder pump wet well. Universal design
allows easy drop-in conversion; ready to connect. The environment
one AMGP is a complete replacement for all of the troublesome
components of a centrifugal including slide rails, pump/motor, float
switches, piping and motor control devices.
Features
All solids are
ground into fine particles, allowing them to pass easily through the
pump, check valve, and small diameter pipelines. Even objects that
are not normally found in sewage, such as plastic, rubber, fiber,
wood, etc., are ground into fine particles.
The grinder is
designed not to jam and for minimum wear to the grinding mechanism.
The AMGP comes
complete with a self-contained level control system, eliminating
troublesome float switches. The Grinder Pump is automatically
activated. It runs infrequently for very short periods. The annual
energy consumption is typically that of a 40-watt light bulb.
